Having worked in the property industry for over 15 years, and more recently being solely involved in the holiday rental sector, we realised the need to be able to adapt to an ever changing property market.

In March 2020, tourism fell off a cliff edge and left a number of our own and managed properties vacant. 

We subsequently had a number of clients seek our help in securing longer term tenants. Unfortunately with letting agency work being fully regulated in Scotland, we were unable to assist in some aspects of long term letting however with our clients wanting to retain our knowledge of their properties and have the ability to switch back to short term letting at the drop of a hat, we decided to offer an array of services to suit each client and property.

Although we are not letting agents and have no intention of becoming one, we believe we can offer the best of both worlds. We know there are a huge number of owners who don’t want to hand over control of their property (and a generous chunk of their rental income) but also don’t want to be completely hands on. Others will want to self manage but don’t live locally.

We can help by carrying out viewings at your property, responding to prospective tenants’ enquiries and gathering paperwork in advance of them signing their contract. We can also assist with property photography, inventories and check out cleaning. Thereafter, we’re happy to simply hold a set of keys for you and/or be a local point of contact for any general queries or problems.
